Cooperation between EUROSAF and 2.4mR class extended

 EUROSAF 2.4mR European Championship from 15 to 20 May 2022 in France

This year’s 2.4mR Class European Championship will be sailed under EUROSAF umbrella. The event will be held from 15 to 20 May in Quiberon, in North-West of France. It is also part of the EUROSAF Inclusive Cup 2022, which combines nine events in five European countries, sailed in the inclusive 2.4mR class, to a multi-national Cup ranking of the European Sailing Federation.
 
“We have a long tradition of supporting para and inclusive sailing. So we are particularly happy about extending the cooperation with the 2.4mR class by having the Class European Championship under EUROSAF umbrella”, says Josep M. Pla, EUROSAF president.
 
In April already around 50 sailors from 12 nations have registered for the EUROSAF 2.4mR European Championship, and entry is still open. The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday 15 May in the evening, and the first warning signal is scheduled for Monday at noon. The last racing day will be Friday 20 May.
