Uroš Kraševac (SLO) and Lisa Berger (AUT) have been crowned European Champions in the Beneteau First 18 SE after a thrilling four-day regatta at the Union-Yacht-Club Attersee (UYCAs). The EUROSAF Beneteau First 18 SE European Championship took place from June 4 to 7, 2026, with competitors from five nations battling for the title on the Attersee.
Conditions were ideal throughout the event. Races could be held on all four competition days, giving the international fleet fair and challenging sailing conditions. The participants were able to showcase their skills on the water under high-quality racing circumstances.
Kraševac and Berger secured the European title with a consistently strong performance across the series. The Slovenian-Austrian duo defeated the international field to take the top spot. Dejan Presen (SLO) and Dénes Szilágyi (SLO) finished in second place, while the German team of Raphael Lorenz, Leoni Kluge, and Antonia Schirner took third. The defending champions Blaz Kmetec and Jure Jerkovic had to settle for fourth place.
The Beneteau First 18 SE is a sporty, modern one-design class built for direct maneuvers, speed, and tactical precision. At just under 5.6 meters in length, with a swing or lifting keel, twin rudders, and a performance-optimized rig, the boat combines competitive racing with high sailing fun. This mix makes the class attractive to ambitious teams as well as sailors who prefer a responsive, dynamic boat.
