Piotr Cichocki Wins Double Gold at EUROSAF Inclusive Europeans

Piotr Cichocki of Poland won two gold medals at the EUROSAF Inclusive European Championships 2026, held as part of the Gdynia Sailing Days in Gdynia, Poland. Competing in the Hansa 303 class, Cichocki secured first place in both the single-handed and double-handed events.

The single-handed competition took place on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by the double-handed races on Friday and Saturday. In the single-handed event, Cichocki finished ahead of Portugal’s Joao Pinto, who took silver, and France’s Gauthier Bril, who earned bronze.

In the double-handed event, Cichocki sailed with crew member Karolina Dampc. The Polish pair won gold, while the silver medal went to Michał Dżugan and Patrycja Klakla, also from Poland. The bronze medal was awarded to the French team of Gauthier Bril and Nicolas Lelu.

The event was organized within the framework of the Gdynia Sailing Days, a program that combined competitive sailing with local cultural activities. The regatta brought together sailors from multiple European countries and was hosted in the Bay of Gdynia under generally favorable weather conditions.
