July 20, 2026EUROSAF Extends Call for Expressions of Interest for Committees until 1 September 2026
Following productive discussions within the Executive Board over recent weeks, EUROSAF launched the call for Expressions of Interest for its new advisory bodies. The response from the sailing community has already been encouraging, with high-quality nominations submitted by Member National Authorities (MNAs).
To build on this momentum and give every MNA adequate time to nominate qualified representatives, the Executive Board agreed during its latest meeting to extend the submission deadline to 1 September 2026.
Shape the Future of European Sailing
EUROSAF relies on the experience and passion of experts to drive projects, modernise governance, and support sailors, race officials, and event organisers across the continent. Nominations are open for the following groups:
- Legal Committee – Advisory on constitution, regulations, and legal matters.
- Race Officials Committee – Development, exchange programmes, and support for race officers, judges, and umpires.
- Events Committee – Overseeing European championship structures, bids, and new event formats.
- Development Committee – Initiatives to grow participation, youth sailing, and accessibility.

EUROSAF strongly encourages all Member National Authorities to review their internal talent pool and nominate representatives across these key fields.
