With big regret we have to inform that the Organizers in conjunction with EUROSAF have made the decision to cancel the 2020 EUROSAF Match Racing, Open European Championship that was planned this August in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
The decision to cancel this event has been made following discussions with Sverdlovsk Yachting Federation (OA) and Russian Yachting Federation over concerns of the impact of COVID-19. The goal is to protect the safety of participants, race officials, volunteers, and staff while taking into account anticipated restrictions on international travel and possible financial fallout.
The EUROSAF Executive Board has approved that the 2021 EUROSAF Match Racing, Open European Championship will be held in Ekaterinburg, Russia, on 17th – 21st August 2021.
