Again not much wind!
There will definitely not be a second round-robin of the event as it was scheduled in the event format. The Race committee has completed 21 races by now instead of 60 races planned and decided to change the format. The first aim is to finish the round robin for all 10 teams, and the two highest placed skippers will qualify directly to the semi-finals. Skippers placed 3rd – 8th will sail a quarter final round robin and two best teams of this stage will join semi-finals as well.
The reason is the same – the complete absence of wind. Today the wind arrived only around 6 p.m. and boats were out to race till sunset. This time was enough to complete 3 flights (9 races) and resail the abandoned match of yesterday.
